Mas des Avelines is a luxurious holiday villa in Provence that sleeps up to ten people. The house is set in its own extensive private grounds with a heated swimming pool. The Provencal mas (farmhouse) has been restored to an exceptionally high standard to combine modern style and comfort, with traditional features.

Living Area
Mas des Avelines benefits from a huge living room measuring 54m². This is divided into two areas – sitting and eating. The sitting area has three large sofas to relax on in front of the large flat screen 3D surround sound TV. The TV has English FreeSat plus a DVD. The room also benefits from a Sonos system and wifi. The dining area has a long dining table that will sit up to 14 people – for occasions when our guests have extra friends and family for dinner.
The dining area has huge windows which fully open onto a patio terrace with an outdoor eating area. There is a staircase within the room that leads up to another dining area which gets the beautiful morning sun – ideal for breakfasts.

Bedrooms
All of our beautiful bedrooms have been named after the trees around the property. All five bedrooms are ensuite.
There is the option of the house having five double beds in the house or one double bed and eight twin beds or any combination in between. All the bedrooms and bathrooms have underfloor heating plus heated towel rails in the bathrooms.

Kitchen
The kitchen at Mas des Avelines is divided into two areas – the preparation area and the wet area. The preparation area gives the guests a wonderful space to prepare meals. There are two Neff pyrolytic ovens, a five ring induction hob, a microwave, a warming drawer plus a full height larder fridge and a full height fridge freezer. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and includes everything you’ll need.
The wet area is dedicated to drinks and washing up. Here you will find an American fridge freezer, providing a place to store cold drinks and for ice, a wine fridge plus a Nespresso machine and kettle for guests use. In the cupboards you will find all the crockery and glasses that you will need for your stay at Mas des Avelines.

Pool
The pool area at Mas des Avelines benefits from a 14 x 5 m salt water heated pool and outdoor shower. The pool has a safety cover plus an alarm that can be set to alert people if anyone enters the pool. There are various sitting areas here, plus the pool house and BBQ patio. Pool towels are provided for all the guests. There is also an outdoor bathroom that provides a WC and another shower. You will also find a washer dryer, iron and ironing board in this room.
Next to the pool area is the beach volleyball/badminton court. There is also a table tennis table available for guests use. We have installed a dedicated children’s area. To keep the kids busy there are swings, a large trampoline plus jungle gym with monkey bars, ladders and slide.

Outdoor Dining & Relaxing
Although there are great restaurants in the local villages of La Cadière d’Azur and Le Castellet, it is a pleasure to eat ‘at home’ at Mas des Avelines. In addition to the indoor dining room, there are three outdoor areas. Each of the three outdoor dining areas provide a different experience; whether it is cooking and eating in the pool house, formal dining on the patio or an alfresco breakfast in the beautiful clear morning sun.
Off the dining area there is a patio with a long wooden table that can sit up to 12 people on rattan chairs. Above the sitting area and up the staircase you will find the breakfast terrace. The third dining area is next to the pool and overlooks the village of Le Castellet. The table and chairs sit next to the newly built charcoal BBQ, gas BBQ and outdoor kitchen.

The Local Area
Mas des Avelines is set in the heart of Provence and just a short trip from numerous attractions including the coast and the famous Circuit Paul Ricard. Located in the village of Le Castellet you’ll find little winding streets are great to wander through, with plenty of stylish boutiques, cafes and restaurants to discover right on your doorstep.
The coast is ten minutes drive away and includes the beaches at Bandol, St Cyr sur Mer and Sanary sur Mer. Bandol makes a wonderful day out with its busy harbour, great cafés and acres of yachts in the marina to explore.
